RE-LAUNCHING IN PERSON
SUNDAY MORNING JUNE 7
Dear Forge Faith Family,
Our last time to assemble was March 15, 2020, and from that time we have worshipped and prayed together through our Online Services on Facebook and YouTube. Now, as we have studied and prayed during this COVID-19 Pandemic, it’s time to re-assemble our Faith Family back to our facility on the Parkway. AMEN!
Your pastors, along with various team members, have developed a strategy and plan in returning to the facility, even though YOU are the CHURCH and have never left one another in our worship together through Spirit and Truth of God’s Word and praising Him Online. You have all been missed deeply and everyone is looking forward in coming together once again on Sunday mornings. We want to return safely, smartly, and in a spirit of love and humility with one another on June 7th.
Below is our outline and strategy for each member and guests that returns on June 7th, even though it will not look like it did on March 15th when we last worshipped together.
We are asking that the front area parking spaces be reserved for senior adults. The closest parking spaces to the breezeway between the educational buildings also be reserved for handicapped. All other parking spaces will be for those members and guests that are under the age of 60. This arrangement will allow easier access for our seniors to the entrances that will be utilized.
There will be ONE ENTRANCE in the Worship Center and ONE EXIT, with the exception of a handicapped entrance at the breezeway between buildings. The main entrance and exit will be at the front white columns and water fountain in front of the worship center. Please use this entrance and exit when coming in and out of the building.
WHEN ENTERING BUILDING
First, we are asking each person and family group to be aware of social distancing of 6 feet from each other and to wear masks, as to be conscious of those around you and for the health safety of all in this close environment. If you do not have a mask, we will do our best to provide you with one as supplies last.
Second, we are asking you to wait for an usher to help seat you either as a family or as individuals when walking down the aisles to your seat. Because the pew cushions have been removed, you may desire to bring your own cushion if needed.
Once inside the worship center you will notice arrows to help you know of the direction to walk while in the facility.
It is best for family groups to sit together for spacing.
There will be TITHE and OFFERING containers as you enter and exit the building as not to handle an offering plate being passed down the pew.
There will not be a paper bulletin distributed, but all information will be available online on our webpage at
TO OUR OLDER MEMBERS
Older members and those with vulnerable health conditions may be fearful of returning at once, our advice is to wait and continue our online services until you feel safe to return. We love you and would not want any threat of a virus to disrupt your worship.
PRESCHOOL AND PRIMARY AGED CHILDREN
We are not scheduling a nursery, or children’s worship until further notice. If parents decide to bring their child to worship, we ask that they sit with their children and not allow them to be away from you at anytime. Our services will remain ONLINE and you may prefer to worship in this manner for a freer environment since you are accustomed for your child to be in a separate worship experience.
WATER FOUNTAINS AND COFFEE
Water and coffee will not be available before, during, or after the worship service.
Please bring your own bottled water if you need it.
CLEANING AND SANITIZING
The worship center, and every area pertaining to the facility will be disinfected and cleaned between each service.
SUNDAY NIGHTS, MONDAY NIGHTS, AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT SERVICES
We will continue to postpone our Sunday Night Prayer Service, Monday Night Prayer Service, and Wednesday Night Activities until further notice. However, we will continue Online Prayer Services on Monday Nights and Living Room Devotions with Pastor Toby on Friday Nights, all at 6:30 pm.
As we continue to transition through this unprecedented time together as a Faith Family, rest assured that we are each praying that this will soon pass and our face to face gatherings together will soon be more often. May God continue to strengthen each of us during Such A Time As This and may we grow in our faith MORE each day.
In His love and Service,
Pastor Wayne Cook
